Registered NurseProfession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Years of experience: 2 - Charge experience preferred - Patient ratios experience required - Experience with ventilated patients - Continuous IV sedation expertise - ICP monitoring skills - Procedural sedation administration and monitoring experience - Level 2 Trauma experience preferred - Level 1 Trauma experience preferredDescription: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. Candidates must possess current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. The position requires weekend coverage. Some flexibility in floating to other units may be necessary based on facility needs. The unit provides care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Common patient diagnoses include trauma and surgical cases. Special procedures in the unit include complex wound care and massive transfusions. Interdisciplinary support is available, including IV teams, physical therapy, and rapid response teams. Candidates must adhere to a strict dress code policy.
