The Medical Laboratory Scientist will perform a variety of complex laboratory procedures and analyses to assist in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating diseases. Key responsibilities include:Conducting routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, and blood bankingAnalyzing and interpreting laboratory test resultsOperating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instrumentsEnsuring compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (CLIA, CAP, etc.)Participating in quality control and quality assurance activitiesCollaborating with healthcare providers to interpret patient data and contribute to patient care decisionsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related fieldASCP certification (or equivalent) as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) is preferredStrong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques across various disciplinesExperience with laboratory information systems (LIS) and proficiency in using computerized instruments and equipmentExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamEffective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with healthcare providers and patientsInterested in applying?
