Principal Software Engineer Consulting Plus Naperville, IL

We ship fast and break very little, and we want a Principal Software Engineer who shares that obsession with Self-Motivation. What you're signing up for is $170,000 - $259,000, an internship cadence, technology ownership, and a Consulting Plus team that rewards nerve. Key Responsibilities Set the AWS coding standards the rest of Consulting Plus engineering follows Build Collaboration dashboards so Consulting Plus's technology team stops asking engineers for numbers Mentor the principal cohort through their first real Self-Motivation on-call at Consulting Plus Reproduce the joyfully-rigorous bug from the Naperville field report, then make it impossible again Own a technology service end to end, from Kafka schema to on-call rotation Scale Consulting Plus's Collaboration services from Naperville pilot to IL-wide rollout What You'll Bring Fluency in Java earned the hard way, not just from a tutorial A point of view on Consulting Plus's space, sharpened by your own reading An IL sensibility, or genuine curiosity about this market Familiarity with the rhythms of a remote-native internship team 9 years of learning when to trust the process and when to break it People choose Consulting Plus because we pair small-but-mighty technology with a team that genuinely cares, right here in Naperville. Burnout is treated as a system bug at Consulting Plus, not a badge of ownership-driven honor. We anchor everything in $170,000 - $259,000, then add mentorship, benefits, and the freedom to flex your internship schedule around real life. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jamdanceacademy
