Quality Assistant

Temporary Position

The Quality Assistant position supports both Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control teams with administrative tasks that ensure Goodier's compliance with FDA Regulatory Guidelines and internal procedures. A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and organization skills are fundamental requirements for this position. This position reports to the QA or QC Manager.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Scan, electronically upload, and file / archive completed test reports or job records.
• Support the retain sample organization, documentation and archive process including sample verification, organization, documentation, storage, retrieval, document organization, and sample life cycle management.
• Clean glassware and maintain laboratory cleanliness.
• Support inventory organization and laboratory supply stocking.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior laboratory experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Great organization skills, strong attention to detail, and works with a high degree of integrity.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook & Excel.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
• Use appropriate PPE and following all laboratory safety procedures.
