- Communicate with customers to understand their vehicle problems and needs.
- Write repair orders, describing the vehicle's condition and the repairs or services required.
- Estimate costs and time required for repair or maintenance work.
- Schedule appointments for vehicle inspections, tests, and repairs.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
- Explain the work performed and the charges to the customer
- Manage and file necessary paperwork and records.
- Update customers on the status of their vehicles and any changes to cost or timeline.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.
