Hematology/Oncology Physician

Locums - Reidsville, North Carolina, Hematology/Oncology Opening

Clinical Role

• Start December 14, 2026
• 39-week assignment
• Ambulatory Hematology/Oncology clinic
• Primary focus on benign Hematology
• Approximately 60-65% Hematology with some monthly variation
• Bread-and-butter Hematology/Oncology
• New patient consultations and follow-up visits
• Write orders and prescriptions
• Coordinate with pharmacy
• Must be comfortable working in a general Hematology/Oncology setting

Schedule & Patient Volume

• 4 10-hour day shifts
• 7:00 am-5:00 pm
• Minimum 15 patients per day

Support & Systems

• Nurses and Nurse Navigator
• Administrative and pharmacy support
• 1-2 physicians and APPs
• Infusion specialist
• Provider will not work entirely independently
• Epic EMR
• Epic assessment required before start date

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board Certified in Hematology and/or Oncology
• Dual Board Certification preferred
• Board Certification in Oncology required if treating Oncology patients
• Active North Carolina license required
• DEA required
• BLS required
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience required
