Devcare Solutions is currently recruiting for an excellent Locum Medical Director opportunity with the State of Texas Health and Human Services – Rio Grande State Supported Living Center located in Harlingen, Texas .
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary medical team while providing high-quality care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Position Details
Title: Medical Director
Location: Harlingen, TX
Duration: 3+ Months
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership for the medical department
- Supervise Physicians, APRNs, PAs, Psychiatrists, Dentists, Pharmacists
- Manage complex medical and behavioral health cases
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning
- Ensure compliance with Texas HHS and DOJ standards
- Provide primary medical care for assigned individuals
- Participate in leadership meetings and on-call rotation
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Active Texas Medical License
- DEA Registration
- Active NPI
- Eligible Medicare/Medicaid Provider
- Leadership experience preferred
