Nurse Practitioner (NP) In-Office Virtual Visits (Urgent Care)

We are seeking a dependable and professional Nurse Practitioner to provide in-office virtual urgent care visits for a busy outpatient practice in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NP looking for consistent part-time hours in a well-supported, organized clinical environment.

Providers will conduct virtual urgent care consultations from the office, evaluate patients in real time, diagnose and treat common acute conditions, prescribe appropriate medications, and provide follow-up recommendations. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, has excellent clinical judgment, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.

An active Medicaid ID number is required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual urgent care evaluations from the office.
• Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and minor injuries.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and prescribe medications as needed.
• Provide patients with clear discharge instructions and follow-up recommendations.
• Document all encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
• Active Medicaid ID number (required).
• Experience in urgent care, primary care, family medicine, or emergency medicine preferred.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Comfortable managing patients independently in a virtual care environment.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
