Job Description

Lead and inspire a dynamic revenue services team to drive operational excellence across the entire patient financial journey. As Supervisor of Revenue Services - Cash Operations, you'll take ownership of registration, admissions, insurance verification, and cash operations—transforming processes and elevating team performance. Partner strategically with physicians, clinical staff, and departmental leaders to build strong cross-functional relationships that enhance patient experiences and organizational outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• **Lead & Develop Your Team**: Supervise and mentor associates engaged in revenue cycle activities, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement while coaching staff to reach their full potential.
• **Drive Operational Excellence**: Develop and refine departmental procedures, workflows, and best practices to maximize productivity, quality, and efficiency—ensuring the revenue cycle operates at peak performance.
• **Optimize Performance & Quality**: Analyze departmental metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement data-driven solutions that enhance both operational effectiveness and team engagement.
• **Build Strategic Partnerships**: Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with physicians, clinical staff, and other departmental leaders to align revenue services with organizational goals and improve patient financial experiences.
• **Ensure Compliance & Accuracy**: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of state and government billing standards across Motor Vehicle accidents, Workers' Compensation, Medicaid, Group Health Plans, BCBS, and Medicare to ensure accurate, compliant operations.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Associate's Degree or a minimum of three to four (3-4) years of revenue cycle experience including but not limited to billing, registration/insurance verification, point of service collection related experience is required.
• Two (2) years of progressively more responsible experience preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of revenue cycle processes is preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Windows, and the Internet. EPIC experience preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of state and government billing standards as it relates to insurances for but not limited to, Motor Vehicle accidents, Workmen Compensation, Medicaid, Group Health Plans, BCBS and Medicare.
• Ability to create, analyze and interpret reports and spreadsheets.
• Must have the ability to independently organize and prioritize responsibilities; problem solve and implement solution based ideas.
• Ability to interact with leadership, staff, patients, families, visitors and agencies of various social-economic backgrounds.
• Coach and mentor staff in a positive manner. Excellent written & verbal communication skills & strong facilitative interpersonal skills.
