SALESFORCE ARCHITECT

Salesforce Architect

Location: Canada, Remote, Fulltime

We need a Salesforce Architect who has worked on Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) — specifically Industries CPQ with EPC or Ratings Engine, ideally in Health or Insurance projects, with Health Cloud exposure or certification.

Candidates to have experience with:

• OmniStudio (SFI)
• SFI CPQ
• EPC or Ratings Engine
• Health Cloud (Industries)
• Health & Insurance Domain

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience with Omnistudio (DataRaptor, FlexCards, OmniScript, Integration Procedures), SFI CPQ and either SFI EPC or Ratings Engine.
• Architecting integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs (REST/SOAP) and middleware like MuleSoft.
• Expert knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
• Mentoring developers, managing CI/CD pipelines, and driving DevOps best practices.
• Setting coding standards, conducting code reviews, ensuring scalability, and preventing technical debt.
• Judges the trade-offs with technology and feasibility and makes choices that fit the constraints of the project.
• Health cloud experience and certification will be a value add.
• Designs and implements business technology solutions focused on cloud-based business applications, specifically, Salesforce.com.
• Direct involvement and/or oversight of developing business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, application configuration, testing and deployment.
• Works directly with clients to lead projects, facilitates business process analysis sessions, develops and delivers key components of technology solution.
• Provides mentoring and guidance to other team members, including offshore team members.
• Understand platform limitations and design alternatives to work around limitations
• Identify when business requirements conflict with technical capabilities
• Monitor technical deliverables for consistent quality as well as compliance with Wipro standards
• Partner with project managers to monitor project status and risk areas
• Perform the most advanced design and development tasks

Education and Required Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in a hands-on technical leadership position
• Some SFI experience or SFI certification(s) in SFI Health cloud
• 5+ years Salesforce development experience
• 3+ years' experience of working on deployment teams, ideally using Agile development techniques.
• 2+ years Salesforce Architecture experience in SFI Health cloud
• Excellent communication skills, equally comfortable with crafting emails as leading a white-board discussion with customers or delivering a technical presentation.
• Business operations and process experience in Health & Insurance Sector
• Must be able to direct and drive development team
• Salesforce advanced administrator, advanced developer, or technical architect certifications highly preferred
• One or more current Salesforce.com certifications (developer, administrator, sales/service, TA, etc)
