What You'll Do

• Evaluate patient's functional status through assessments and testing measures
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments and patient tolerance
• Collaborate with physicians to prepare and update plans of care
• Educate patients and families on pathology, treatment options, prognosis, and safety measures
• Supervise and delegate to Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students
• Recommend adaptive/supportive equipment and assist in securing necessary devices
• Document patient responses, treatment progress, and billing information in accordance with policies
• Promote community awareness of physical therapy services and participate in interdisciplinary teams
• Function as a case manager for assigned patients ensuring optimal care and outcomes

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Michigan state license as a Physical Therapist
• Proven experience in outpatient therapy, with some experience in acute care preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Windows

Preferred:

• 1+ year of outpatient therapy experience
• Experience supervising therapy staff and students
