Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Oncology ICU (BMT ICU)

Location

Dallas, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide total care for critically ill oncology/BMT patients in a 10-bed Oncology ICU at a 2:1 patient ratio
• Manage and titrate vasoactive and other IV drips for hemodynamically unstable patients
• Care for patients on ventilators, BiPAP, A-lines, CRRT, and flow-track monitoring equipment
• Perform total patient care including turning, dressing changes, and trach care
• Document patient care and assessments using the Meditech EMR system
• Float as needed to other ICUs, PCU, and BMT units; report for shift at 0645

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of strong ICU experience, including titrating drips and caring for ventilated patients
• Experience caring for patients on BiPAP
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CRRT experience
• Transplant experience (Kidney, Pancreas, or Liver)
• Compassionate bedside manner with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and physicians
