Staff Accountant

We are there from start to finish, standing behind our products from the drawing board to the customer’s shop floor. Position Title: Staff Accountant Position Responsibilities Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support preparation of internal financial statements and analysis.Including monthly journal entries and key account reconciliations.
- Update cash forecast regularly to reflect current financial status. Monitor and update planned receipts and payments.
- Prepare progress billings for large projects and invoicing.
- Track project budgets and post project wrap-up reporting.
- Support Accounts Receivable collections and credit monitoring.
- Provide backup support in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and provide variance analysis.
- Use a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Works to consistently meet and exceed customer and Belco management requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
