Senior Accountant

We are seeking a professional Senior Accountant to join a growing team in Spartanburg, SC . This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits . The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Job Description:- Oversee the general ledger and promote accurate/timely financial reporting alongside the Controller
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Assist the Controller with limited treasury activities
- Manage lease accounting
- Reconcile lease clearing accounts by reclassifying lease expenses
- Review and validate general ledger entries
- Review and post month end depreciation
- Prepare and maintain CapEx reporting, capitalized R&D labor costs, and supported capital expenditure estimates
- Prepare and review accruals (AP) and support the month-end close
- Prepare estimates, depreciation, and capital expenditures
- Prepare and file 1099 reporting
- Respond to audit requests
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Assist with ad hoc projects and collaborate with shared services
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing
- SAP & S/4 HANA Expereince (Required)
- Excellent MS Excel Skills
- Strong team player attitude
- Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
- 100% ONSITE
