Senior Accountant

We are seeking a professional Senior Accountant to join a growing team in Spartanburg, SC . This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits . The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Oversee the general ledger and promote accurate/timely financial reporting alongside the Controller
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Assist the Controller with limited treasury activities
• Manage lease accounting
• Reconcile lease clearing accounts by reclassifying lease expenses
• Review and validate general ledger entries
• Review and post month end depreciation
• Prepare and maintain CapEx reporting, capitalized R&D labor costs, and supported capital expenditure estimates
• Prepare and review accruals (AP) and support the month-end close
• Prepare estimates, depreciation, and capital expenditures
• Prepare and file 1099 reporting
• Respond to audit requests
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Assist with ad hoc projects and collaborate with shared services

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing
• SAP & S/4 HANA Expereince (Required)
• Excellent MS Excel Skills
• Strong team player attitude

• Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
• 100% ONSITE
