Technical Product Owner

The Technical Product Owner identifies, defines, analyzes, prioritizes and refines business requirements, and communicates those requirements to the Scrum development teams. They are the voice of the customer, stakeholder and end user in product development decisions; aligning feature and product requests with business value. The Senior Technical Product Owner works directly with various internal and external stakeholders, as well as with the Scrum teams to ensure successful translation of requirements into high-quality software.

MUST HAVE Critical Skills for this position:

• Agile & Scrum Leadership – Ability to own and prioritize the product backlog, define user stories, and collaborate effectively with Scrum teams to ensure timely delivery of features/project
• Stakeholder & Cross Departments Coordination – Proven ability to engage and align multiple teams, including IT, leadership and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity on goals, priorities and dependencies
• Strong Communication & Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly (both verbally and in writing), navigate challenges, facilitate discussions, and drive resolutions to roadblocks. Must be a proactive problem solver with a solution oriented mindset
• Adaptability & Issue Mitigation – Ability to manage changing priorities, mitigate risk, and anticipate potential project blockers, ensuring the team remains on track while maintaining a collaborative and positive attitude
• Workflow & Process Automation – Experience in creating workflows, process automation artifacts, and documentation to support business and IT alignment

Those having these additional skills will be client interviewed first!!

• Salesforce experience or familiarity with SF Service Cloud, Salesforce Experience Cloud (Community Cloud), Salesforce Sales Cloud
• SQL / SOQL skills
• Work experience in the Dental Industry

Education, Experience & Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in business management, computer science, information technology, or equivalent education and work experience.
• 5 years' experience as an Agile Scrum Product Owner or similar roles. 4 years Scrum experience.
• Strong knowledge/experience in agile development practices (especially Scrum and/or Kanban), methodologies and tools.
• Certified Product Owner (CPO) or similar qualification in product ownership or analysis is desirable.
• Health Insurance industry experience is desirable Experience with distributed (off-site and/or off-shore) product & development teams.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Experience in accessing and analyzing data with tools such as SQL.
• Expertise with collaboration tools such as SharePoint or Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
