Environmental Engineer

To provide technical leadership and strategic guidance for complex environmental remediation projects, the part-time California Licensed Remediation Expert will serve as a senior technical resource, mentoring staff and supporting project delivery for clients in the oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, energy, and industrial sectors. Key responsibilities Serve as the senior technical lead and subject matter expert for environmental remediation projects involving soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor impacts Provide technical oversight and quality reviews for remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and remedial designs Mentor and provide technical leadership to project managers, engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related field 12+ years of experience in environmental consulting with significant remediation expertise Demonstrated expertise in contaminated site investigation and regulatory closure Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Professional Geologist (PG) registration preferred Extensive knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, including RCRA and CERCLA
