Position Title: Mainframe Storage System Programmer
Location: Charlotte, NC 28262
Duration: 6- 12+ Months Contract
Position Type-W2 Only
Exp Level- 8+ Years
About the Role
The Mainframe Storage System Programmer will be responsible for managing and maintaining storage systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- IBM Storage
- Dell EMC Storage
- Excellent understanding of System z architecture
- Excellent experience with IBM z/OS operating system
- Knowledge on Parallel Sysplex concepts, Catalog management, IBM system utilities
- Installation and maintenance of ISV products, REXX, RMF, SMF
- System parameters/parmlib maintenance
- Managing incidents on storage related issues
- Storage performance monitoring and reporting
- Hardware knowledge on large scale hardware vendors (IBM, EMC)
