Primary Care Physicians (Salt Lake City)

Position Overview

The Faculty of the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Utah seeks Primary Care Physicians in a new clinical track. Positions involve full‑time ambulatory patient care (approximately eight half‑day clinical sessions per week) and opportunities to teach third‑ and fourth‑year medical students as well as internal medicine residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality patient care in an ambulatory setting (roughly eight half‑day sessions per week).
• Teach third‑ and fourth‑year medical students and internal medicine residents, contributing to the educational mission of the Division.
• Engage in faculty development activities and participate in departmental meetings and initiatives as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO).
• ABIM eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• ABIM certification in Internal Medicine.
