As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while collaborating with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain visitor and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required documentation.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and follow all applicable laws, licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies for armed security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
