Job Requisition ID #26WD98491Position OverviewWe are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager, Intelligent Operations & Platform Engineering to lead the transformation of our global infrastructure operations organization.This leader will drive operational excellence across multi-cloud infrastructure, data centers, networking, developer platforms, and enterprise engineering services while accelerating automation, AI-assisted operations, observability, and platform modernization initiatives.The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong operational leadership experience managing large-scale infrastructure and platform environments. This role requires a leader who can modernize operations, improve reliability and scalability, enhance developer productivity, and build a highly automated, intelligent operational model.ResponsibilitiesLead global infrastructure operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP environmentsDrive operational excellence, resiliency, scalability, observability, and automationLead modernization initiatives across cloud, virtualization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and developer platformsImprove incident management, operational governance, reliability engineering, and service management practicesBuild intelligent operations capabilities including AI-assisted support, predictive insights, automation, and self-healing workflowsPartner with platform engineering, security, developer enablement, and product teamsDrive platform adoption, operational alignment, and engineering productivitySupport enterprise security, governance, compliance, and FedRAMP-related initiativesLead follow-the-sun operations and global operational readinessLead and mentor global teams across India and the United StatesBuild a culture of accountability, innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvementBalance strategic leadership with hands-on operational executionPartner with vendors and service providers to improve scalability and operational efficiencyMinimum Qualifications8–12+ years in infrastructure engineering, cloud operations, platform engineering, SRE, or enterprise infrastructure5-8 + years managing engineering or infrastructure operations teamsStrong experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, and/or GCPDeep understanding of data centers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, automation, and developer platformsExperience driving operational transformation, automation, and AI-assisted operations initiativesStrong communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience leading large-scale enterprise infrastructure and platform environmentsExperience managing global teams and offshore operationsBackground in AI-driven operations, intelligent automation, observability, and reliability engineeringProven ability to modernize legacy operational models into scalable cloud-first platformsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $151,300 and $271,150. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
