Shift Details

This position is for a Night Shift that follows a 3x12-Hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

The role requires an experienced Case Manager in a high-volume Emergency Department (ED). Candidates must have a strong background in Case Management with a focus on InterQual criteria.

Qualifications

Previous Charge Experience: Minimum of 3 years
Patient Ratio Experience: Experience in managing patient ratios in high-volume settings
Charting System Experience: Familiarity with Community Hospital charting systems
Experience with:
- LTAC
- Trauma Level I
- Trauma Level II
- Travel assignments
Certifications:
- BLS
- ACM
- CCM
- RNBC*
Prior Hospital Case Management Experience: Required

Skills Required

Utilization of InterQual Criteria effectively in a clinical setting.

Unit Details

Patient Age Groups:
- Neonates
- Infants
- Pediatrics
- Adolescents
- Adults
- Geriatrics
Daily Census: Average of 17 visits per day
Additional Unit Information:
- Inpatient areas include M/S, OB, NICU, and Critical Care
- No pediatrics or adolescents unless in ICUs
- Specialty areas include Psych or ED
- A typical workload includes 17-20 patients per day without Utilization Review responsibilities
Special Equipment: Relevant to the specifics of the unit's needs (to be discussed during the interview)
