Sales Associate Ace Hardware

We are seeking outgoing, friendly, and helpful team members to welcome and assist customers. Basic home improvement and repair knowledge is required for this position. The ideal candidate can assist customers with finding a replacement hose bibb, getting the right supplies for drywall repair, or picking out the right outlet for an electrical project.

Essential Duties:

Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.

Proactively assist customers in solving problems.

Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers and staff.

Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.

Forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management.

Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.

Assist customers throughout the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time.

Assist with daily maintenance, and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area.

Be professional in appearance and actions.

What to expect:

You'll work directly with customers welcoming them and helping them find everything necessary to complete their project in one trip.

Like working in a fast-paced and fun environment? We are high energy so time will fly.

You'll be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).

You must be able to lift 50lbs.
