Quick Facts: Location: Alexandria, LA Start Date: Flexible Duration: Permanent, full-time Shift: 7-on/7-off; daytime with home call Hours/Week: Variable, based on shift Employment Type: Full-time License/Certs: Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics Experience: Preferred, NEONATOLOGY experience not required but valued Pay & Benefits: Compensation discussed during interview Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance (location dependent) Comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Life and Disability coverage Healthcare FSA and Dependent Care FSA HSA options 401(k) retirement plan Employee Stock Purchase Program Employee wellness and work-life balance programs What You’ll Do: Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a Level III NICU with wide acuity Collaborate with a team of 2 neonatologists and 4 neonatal nurse practitioners Conduct daily rounds and develop care plans Support approximately 1,500–2,000 annual deliveries Oversee neonatal transports led by NNP team Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based protocols Support newborn nursery care as part of your responsibilities Engage in a collegial, multidisciplinary clinical environment Deliver high-quality neonatal care in a busy, high-acuity setting What You Need: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics Residency trained in Neonatology (training accepted) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Residency within immediate local area (relocation may be required) Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship accepted About the Assignment: This position offers a unique opportunity to join a renowned pediatric facility in Alexandria, Louisiana.
