The pricing team applies a disciplined analytical decision-making process, and focus on driving profit and market share growth.The Pricing Exception and Controls Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for the management of pricing exception processes, pricing controls including driving the governance around Pricing for both rates and fees, and the development of product and pricing strategies in coordination with the Product Management, Finance and Treasury.Responsibilities:Develop, maintain and improve control reporting and activities within the Pricing teamSupport current and future Pricing Strategies and work with a host of internal partners to deliver the necessary controls required to launch Pricing StrategiesManage the day-to-day approvals and processes for Pricing ExceptionsAssist in development and analysis of strategic product and pricing roadmaps, enhancements and development to drive Deposit growth and revenues. This includes analyzing competitive industry landscapes to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities for pricingParticipate in day-to-day pricing management for core productsExecute pricing that supports the client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clientsProvide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team membersContribute to the achievement of Deposit targets and revenue performance as well as identify and execute opportunities to deliver the business planAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Recommended Qualifications:5+ years of experience with financial services products/pricing, in Business controls, Operational Risk and/ or internal audit; Ideal candidates will have both strategic and tactical abilities and knowledge on deposit laws and regulationsDegree in quantitative field such as finance, economics, business, or similar preferredStrong ability to communicate / present ideas and plans verbally and in writingAbility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment while carrying multiple projects at any given timeUnderstanding key revenue and expense drivers for Deposits and financial planning basicsAdvanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Visual Basic skillsExperience with SAS, SQL, Tableau or Python a plusAbility to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictateAbility to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirementsDemonstrated analytical skillsDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skillsEducation:Bachelor’s degree/University degree.
