Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license prior to the assignment start.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Demonstrated competency with common SNF interventions, including transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and durable medical equipment training preferred.
• Effective documentation skills using electronic medical records preferred.
