New Patient Coordinator - Bilingual

Front Desk Scheduler- Bilingual Pay: $19.00 per hour Location Plantation, Fl Hours 8-4:30/5PM Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Scheduler to support a busy medical office environment. This role is responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing incoming calls, and serving as a key liaison between patients and clinical staff. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and experienced in medical scheduling and patient communications. Key Responsibilities Schedule patient appointments, referrals, tests, and follow up visits efficiently and accurately Answer all incoming calls, assess caller needs, and route calls or messages appropriately Serve as a liaison between patients, physicians, and clinical staff Maintain and manage provider scheduling templates including meetings, rounding, and coverage Register new and referred patients in the system with proper documentation and coding Cancel and reschedule appointments as needed while notifying clinic personnel Obtain, enter, and track authorizations and referral documentation in patient records Collect co pays, deductibles, and other out of pocket payments at time of visit Arrange financial counseling for patients when needed Schedule outpatient testing, surgeries, hospital admissions, and post operative follow ups Communicate with patients regarding surgical and test preparation instructions Follow up on pre operative testing to ensure surgical clearance Prepare correspondence, memos, and forms as assigned Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with all compliance and ethics standards Support front office operations and assist with additional duties as requested Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of three years of experience in a medical office setting Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding required Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Bilingual in English and Spanish required How to Apply For more information or to apply, please contact: Taryn Davis View email address on click.appcast.io View phone number on click.appcast.io .
