Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: An Operating Room Surgery Center Nurse is needed in Bradenton, Florida, at a busy outpatient unit specializing in Preoperative, Phase 2 recovery, Preadmission Testing, and Infusion Center services. The position requires candidates to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role involves working a day shift with varying hours, and candidates should have a flexible schedule. Job Details: Location: Bradenton, FL Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff. Required Qualifications: Candidates must have experience in preoperative, Phase 2 recovery, Infusion Center, or Preadmission Testing. Candidates without these skills will not be considered. Knowledge of MEDITECH electronic medical record system is preferred but not mandatory. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with endoscopy (ENDO) procedures and familiarity with MEDITECH EMR. Additional Information: The unit has a team-focused culture with approachable surgeons and anesthesiologists. It is a fast-paced environment with no "mean girls" group, and the unit features new equipment and technology. The unit operates from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with a variable call schedule.
