General Assembler 1

Roles & Responsibilities

Follow MPIs to assemble and test mechanical and electrical subassemblies
Route wires and perform wire preparation including stripping wires and installing pins and ferrules
Use hand and measuring tools such as torque wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, calipers, polarity checkers, and presses
Perform quality checks and basic testing of completed assemblies
Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
Complete assigned tasks according to production schedules and priorities set by the Team Lead
Work overtime as needed to support production requirements

Experience Required

0-5 years of experience; manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
Experience with hand tools and mechanical aptitude is a plus

Skills & Certifications

Ability to read and follow MPIs, work instructions, and assembly procedures
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on tool experience (torque wrenches, drills, calipers, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Wire routing and preparation skills (stripping, pins, ferrules)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks with precision

Eligibilities & qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
Must be able to stand for extended periods
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
Steel toe or composite shoes required on-site
