Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 8- and 12-hour shifts (primarily 12s) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16–20 bed ICU setting at a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for a diverse adult and pediatric patient population including MedSurg, Neuro, CABG, trauma, psych/OD, DKA, TPA, hypothermia, TAVR, EVAR, and ECMO cases
• Operate and monitor advanced equipment including Draeger ventilators, Phillips telemetry, and PrismaFlex CRRT (experience-based check-off required)
• Float to telemetry unit as needed at a 4:1 ratio based on census and staffing needs
• Participate in on-call rotation; must be within 30 minutes of the facility and available for originally scheduled shifts placed on call
• Adhere to weekend scheduling requirements, including every other weekend and gap coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Current NIHSS and PALS certifications
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Ability to reside within 30 minutes of the facility to meet on-call response requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification preferred
• Experience with IABP, balloon pumps, CRRT (PrismaFlex), or ECMO
• Experience with craniotomy or ICP monitoring patients
