TITLE: Child Caregiver

LOCATION: District

SALARY: $17.50 per hour

BENEFITS: Not Eligible

QUALIFICATIONS:


High School Diploma
Demonstrated ability to work successfully with children and adults
Good physical health
Ability to perform assigned duties
Able to pass the criminal history review and S414.


PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise students attending the before and after care program.
• Treat accidents or injuries following EDC procedures.
• Attend meetings and training programs as required by the site supervisor.
• Perform clerical duties including taking attendance, copying, record keeping.
• Arrange and supervisor indoor and outdoor activities.
• Assume responsibility for storage and maintenance of play equipment.
• Maintain a system for orderly distribution of breakfast/snack, disposal of food waste, return of trays and utensils.
• Assist students with toileting, feeding and ambulating skills as needed.
• Inform the site supervisor of student or parent concerns, accidents, illnesses, building safety concerns, emergencies.
• Interact positively with all students, parents, and staff.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Special Projects Manager.
