Operations Manager - Private Jet Detailing$95,000 - $105,000/YR Bonus eligible Must be flexible on hours workedSummary OverviewThe Operations Manager DOT is responsible for overseeing all aspects of field operations, including leading the operations team, coordinating with airlines and airport authorities, and ensuring the implementation of operational procedures and policies. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, this role is key in crisis management, handling emergencies and disruptions in close collaboration with senior leadership. Continuous analysis and improvement of operational processes to increase overall efficiency.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of the airport service teamCoordinate with various departments to ensure smooth and efficient airport operationsImplement operational policies and procedures in line with company objectives and industry standardsEnsure compliance with all DOT regulations and guidelines, including overseeing the safe and legal operation of airport vehicles, equipment, and personnel involved in airside and landside operationsConduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to DOT standards, including reviewing maintenance records, driver qualifications, and safety procedures, and provide training and updates to staff on changes in DOT regulationsManage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluationsEnsure compliance with aviation regulations and safety protocolsMonitor operational performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and service qualityLiaise with airlines, airport authorities, and external stakeholdersAddress and resolve operational issues and passenger complaintsOversee the maintenance and servicing of airport equipment and facilitiesManage budgeting and resource allocation for operational needsDevelop and maintain emergency response plans and proceduresAnalyze data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvementLead and motivate staff to achieve operational excellenceStay updated with the latest trends and developments in the aviation industryProvide regular operational reports and feedback to senior managementPerform any additional duties as assigned by managementQualifications18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the United StatesAbility to work in office, onsite, Monday-Friday5 years of Leadership/Operational experienceEstablished leader in managing large teamsProject Management experience is a plusIn-depth knowledge of airport operational procedures and regulatory requirementsStrong leadership and team management skillsMust have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving recordCommunicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansAbility to pass a DOT background check and drug screenTravel requirement >75% travel between airport stations and for meetingsMust be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
