This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall production efficiency while maintaining all safety and quality standards. This is a night shift position.Equipment may include fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, palletizers, blow molders, and associated production systems.Schedule: NIGHTS 7:00 pm- 7:00 am 2,2,3QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious manufacturing maintenance experience preferred (2+ years)Mechanical troubleshooting skills in a production environmentAbility to work a flexible schedule and overtime as neededStrong interpersonal and communication skillsBasic computer proficiency; Excel experience preferredAbility to read, understand, and interpret documents, work orders, and operating proceduresAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceBasic math skillsForklift experience or certification preferredAbility to stand, walk, climb, and work in an industrial environment for extended periodsAbility to safely lift, carry, and move materials as requiredEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain production equipment in accordance with established procedures and specificationsOperate and troubleshoot blow molding equipmentPerform preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptimeDiagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues and complete repairs in a timely mannerRespond quickly to production issues to minimize downtimeLead and support equipment changeoversPerform routine inspections and identify potential maintenance concernsMaintain and carry required tools and communication equipment during shiftsAssist in training and developing new team membersPerform basic cleaning and housekeeping of maintenance and production equipmentEnsure production equipment operates efficiently while producing high-quality productsFollow and promote Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and plant safety policiesReport equipment failures, injuries, safety concerns, and production incidents immediately to leadershipSupport continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization effortsRotate job assignments as needed to support operational requirementsFood Safety, GMP & PPE RequirementsEmployees working in production areas are responsible for following and enforcing all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards.Required PPE and GMP compliance may include:Hairnets and beard nets (when applicable)Safety glassesHearing protectionAdditional PPE as required by the task or work areaEmployees must follow all standard operating procedures, quality checks, and food safety requirements.
