Responsibilities Understand customer challenges and priorities, using expertise to propose avenues forward that drive business value through Slack. Facilitate customer‑facing workshops and discovery sessions with technical teams to uncover use‑cases, integration points, and desired outcomes. Develop deep knowledge of Slack’s technical specifications for each release to support and answer technical queries, and demonstrate key features and advanced use‑cases to stakeholders. Be knowledgeable about Slack integrations with: Identity management eDiscovery Data loss prevention Salesforce Other SaaS products and internal systems Partner with customers to achieve business goals by delivering timely, proactive recommendations that enhance Slack usage. Engage with Slack Product and Technical Support Teams to resolve product and technical challenges. Act as an advocate during the triage and resolution of high‑severity cases to drive business reliability and customer satisfaction. Achieve key performance metrics and goals. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a solutions/sales engineer, technical consultant, customer success, or professional services professional, preferably in SaaS or PaaS. Sound knowledge of at least one object‑oriented programming language such as Java, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, or Python. Interest, educational background, or delivery expertise in generative AI technologies. Hands‑on proficiency with data exchanges and APIs. Prior experience developing Slack applications is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage deeply with technical teams or explain concepts to business users. Strong presentation skills for both business‑oriented solutions and complex technical concepts. Experience collaborating with customers to resolve technical problems. Track record of delivering customer value by translating technical issues into tangible solutions at scale. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. Compensation The typical base salary range for this position is $123,100 – $186,300 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas, the base salary range is $147,400 – $202,600 annually. The range represents base salary only and does not include bonuses, incentives, equity, or benefits.
