Minimum Qualifications: One year of experience in administrative services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.

Job Duties And Other Information
Job Duties: Medical Records Administrative Coordinator:
- Compiles and maintain reports monthly for the Census.
- Review the report for demographics, compile war time and peace time veterans for compliance.
- Prepare daily reports such as initial hospital list, leave of absence, daily report, VA midnight census, SFMC hospital list and distribute to various department.
- Transcribes all physicians' orders to database.
- Files and prepares pertinent medical information on the active medical record located on the nursing units.
- Prepares medical record information for release to the resident, an authorized representative or any other outside entity when an official request is made.
Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: Classified WAE/PRN Compensation: The pay rate for this position is based on the credentials of the applicant and applicants are strongly encouraged to enter all relevant job experience on the application prior to submission. Work Schedule: As needed Location: This position is located in the Medical Records department at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Home in Monroe, LA.
