As a Local Truck Driver, you'll play a key role in safely transporting products between locations, ensuring on-time deliveries, and keeping our supply chain running smoothly. If you enjoy driving, take pride in safety, and like hands-on work, this role is for you. What You Will DoSafely operate large trucks to transport cargo between designated locations on a set schedulePerform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readinessLoad, unload, and secure cargo, verifying accuracy and proper handlingManage delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records of shipmentsOperate a forklift as needed to support loading and unloading activitiesCommunicate with dispatch regarding routes, updates, and any issuesMaintain accurate driver logs, including hours worked, deliveries, and rest periods What You BringAssociate's or Technical School Degree OR six months to one-year related experience and/or training: OR equivalent combination of education and experience equivalent experience/training2+ years of experience operating large or heavy trucksValid Class A CDL and current DOT medical certification (required)Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)Strong knowledge of DOT safety regulations and safe driving practicesExperience with vehicle inspections and basic maintenanceSolid documentation and organizational skillsAbility to problem-solve and adapt to changes on the roadStrong communication skills and a team-first mindset Why Litehouse?Our people are passionate about what they do and the teams they support.
