Shift Supervisor (6:00 PM Start) - Cold Storage & Forklift Operations


We are seeking a reliable Shift Supervisor to lead evening operations in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment. This role oversees production and logistics activities beginning at 6:00 PM, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are consistently met in cold conditions.


Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate team members during the evening shift, assigning tasks and monitoring productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, especially in cold environments and around material handling equipment.
• Operate forklifts as needed for loading, unloading, and inventory movement; train and certify staff on proper usage.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and shift performance metrics.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings, enforce PPE usage, and address performance or attendance concerns.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet deadlines and resolve operational issues.

Qualifications:

• Prior supervisory experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage.
• Valid forklift certification and strong equipment operation skills.
• Ability to work in refrigerated or freezer environments for extended periods.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings and overtime as required.
• Bilingual Preferred
