Program Coordinator II- (College of Medicine) - PPP/ACE - (496399 )

Department : Medical Education Salary : $18.32 - $22.88 (Commensurate with Experience/Education) Description : Responsibilities Coordinates program to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives. Participates in planning and develops methods for program implementation and administration; coordinates program activities and processes. Plans and schedules activities in collaboration with interprofessional teams from other University of Houston colleges. Reviews program records and reports of activities. Recommends modifications to methods or procedures as required. Prepares recurring and ad hoc program reports for management use. Assists in preparing reports, proposals, manuals, and other documentation as required for the program. Participates in budget planning and is responsible for controlling expenditures in accordance with budget allocations for the program. Conducts formal training or gives instruction regarding program policies and procedures. Interacts with faculty, staff and students to promote the goals and objectives of the program. Develops and maintains database on research studies, policy issues, etc. Performs other job related duties as required. Education and Experience Requires the ability and knowledge for analysis and interpretation of procedures, policies and practices attainable through specific education and/or training programs in a specialty or technical field. Advanced vocational or electronic skills or a basic knowledge of a professional field is required. An Associate’s degree or certification/licensing in a technical specialty program of over 18 months and up to 3 years duration are characteristic of this field. Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience. Additional Flexibility Department is willing to accept education in lieu of experience. PPP PC Task Assist with course administration and classroom activities, ensuring all necessary preparations are completed before each session. Work with course directors, instructors, and guest speakers to plan and coordinate course sessions. Manage learning management systems including Canvas, Teams, and EZ Check. Provide on-site session support by monitoring attendance, coordinating classroom logistics, and addressing basic IT-related issues. Upload and maintain learning objectives, session descriptions, and other course materials for each instructional session. Ensure the accurate organization and distribution of course-related information and resources to support an effective learning environment. ACE PC Task Assist with enrolling students into clerkships/electives and building schedules in the LMS system. Set up delivery of Preceptor of Student Assessment and Student of Preceptor and Course Evaluations in LMS System. Monitor all assignments for Advanced Clerkship Rotations. Maintain and support ACE CANVAS site. Proctor monthly shelf exam for the Emergency Medicine Clerkship.
