CDL B Local Driver - $25-$26 in Louisville,KY
TransForce is seeking a local CDL A Truck Driver to support operations based in the Louisville,KY area. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
- Route Type: Local Delivery
- M-F 6 am start
- Pay: $25-$26
- Freight / Load Type: building products, primarily roofing and siding materials
- Equipment: Class B Straight Truck with Piggyback/Moffett
- Handling: Touch with Moffett
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL B
- Experience: 1+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate equipment on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
