This leadership position will be full time in the office and located in San Diego, CA (preferred) or Palmdale, CA.This role will support the Product Support EI&E (Engineering Integration and Execution) and lead the DMSMS and ModSim team and SOW (Statement of Work) execution. This role will be responsible for coordinating the priorities between multiple OU (Operating Units), ensuring high quality engineering analyses, talent development and management, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and CAM (Control Account Manager) duties for both teams. The DMSMS team is responsible for proactive monitoring and mitigation of obsolescence risks of the system and driving the program towards a predictable and manageable level of technical change and funding. The ModSim team is responsible for using advanced statistical analysis to integrate various factors that affect usage, deployment, fielding, and resupplying activities and project long-term requirements in order to achieve specific goals.Key Responsibilities:Support the Product Support EI&E Director and OU Program Manager objectivesServe as the technical authority on DMSMS and ModSimProvide technical leadership, direction, and mentoring to engineering team membersCoordinate with other DMSMS and ModSim leaders across the company to ensure sharing and alignment of best practicesMaintain cognizance of shifting best practices, procedures, and USG guidance documents to generate opportunities and influence SOWs and ensure Northrop Grumman is a leader in the fields of DMSMS and ModSimCoordinate with other Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Field Support, and other functions as needed to ensure the teams generate high quality and technically sound analyses that drive leadership/customer actionManage suppliers to ensure high value technical work is performed and deliveredOversee the execution of DMSMS mitigations by suppliers in coordination with the customer and Business ManagementFormally present technical status and solutions to leadership and the customerAct as the CAM for DMSMS and ModSim work packages as neededSupport and shape proposal activitiesWe are looking for self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented people to help us grow our services and become even better at what we do.Our Leaders at Northrop Grumman live our values daily and encourage our teams to do the same. You deliver excellence, strive for continuous improvement, and respond vigorously to change.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in STEM field (Science Technology Engineering Math) and at least 9 years of related experience in DMSMS, ModSim and or another related experience or 7 years with Master's Degree in STEMMust have an active Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a government Top Secret, Special Access Program (SAP), and SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the companyWilling and able to travel up to 25%US Citizenship is a requirement for employmentPreferred Qualifications:Current active in-scope government Top Secret Clearance with S1 or V2 special accessPrevious experience working with Contracts and/or Program ManagementRelevant experience in adjacent logistics support elements such as Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) & Maintenance Planning, Modeling & Simulation (ModSim), Support Equipment Engineering (SEE), Prognostics & Health Management (PHM), Supportable Low Observables (SLO), Obsolescence Management, Training & Training Systems, Technical Data, Support Hardware, Fleet & Field Support, and Product Support ManagementPrevious experience driving process changes/improvements and leading multi-functional teams on complex tasks, with strong communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated financial management skills including development and control of program budgets, schedules, Estimate at Complete (EAC), and the ability to recognize and capture program changesStrong skills in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPointPrevious U.S. Military experience with operations and/or aircraft maintenance backgroundPrimary Level Salary Range: $146,600.00 - $219,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
