Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in San Antonio, TX. This role involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing both routine and complex care, and developing long-range goals to manage clinical nursing contingencies effectively.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring side effects and treatment effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess and educate patients, family members, and caregivers on learning needs and available resources

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

• RN License in the state of TX or compact
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current NRP certification required
• Current certification from NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or an AWHONN course: Intermediate FHM
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
