TradeWise Staffing Group is a fast-growing national skilled trades staffing firm serving commercial construction, industrial, manufacturing, and mission-critical projects across the United States. We're not hiring someone to fill seats — we're hiring an owner.

This role is for a recruiter who runs their desk like it's their own business: full-cycle recruiting, compliance, pipeline management, and reporting, end to end.

You'll work directly under Recruiting Leadership, learning and executing the systems that power our national workforce — with a clear runway to grow into leadership as the team scales.

What You'll Own

• Full-cycle recruiting for skilled trades nationwide — electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, pipefitters, welders, sheet metal workers, heavy equipment operators, and general labor — from sourcing through deployment.
• High-volume project ramp-ups , including large-scale deployments of 50–250+ tradespeople for commercial, industrial, and data center projects, often on tight timelines.
• Sourcing strategy : job boards (Indeed, ZipRecruiter), social media, SMS/text campaigns, referral programs, hiring events, and outbound recruiting — not waiting on applicant flow.
• Candidate screening and vetting using structured scorecards to evaluate licensure, technical ability, work history, and project fit.
• Compliance and onboarding : I-9/E-Verify, background checks, drug screens, and credential verification — owned start to finish with zero-defect accuracy.
• ATS pipeline management : keeping every candidate tracked, tagged, and moving through defined pipeline stages with clean, complete records.
• Reporting : daily and weekly production reporting on submittals, placements, pipeline health, and fill rates — you know your numbers without being asked.
• Client and field partnership : working directly with sales, operations, and client contacts to understand project needs and deliver the right people on time.
• Redeployment and retention : building lasting relationships with field employees so finished assignments turn into the next placement, not a lost candidate.

Who Thrives Here

• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with skilled trades, construction, or high-volume staffing strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to work a full desk independently — you don't need a sourcer, a coordinator, or someone checking your work.
• Experience with ATS platforms (AviontéBOLD a plus) and modern recruiting tools including text/SMS outreach.
• Working knowledge of staffing compliance: I-9/E-Verify, background screening, and onboarding documentation.
• Strong organizational discipline — you build systems and follow processes, and you improve them when you see a better way.
• Competitive, self-motivated, and accountable to metrics without needing external pressure.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus.
• Construction or skilled trades industry knowledge is a strong plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• $55,000–$65,000 base salary, commensurate with experience
