The Management Analyst performs a wide range of professional, technical, and analytical duties to support the operational and fiscal efficiency of assigned County departments. Serves as an internal consultant to department leadership, conducts organizational studies, evaluates management practices, analyzes programs and policies, and provides data-driven recommendations to improve service delivery. Responsibilities include bridging the gap between departmental operations and the County’s broader fiscal and strategic goals, ensuring that resources are optimized and programs remain compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. Duties And Responsibilities Conducts complex management and organizational studies to evaluate policies, systems, costs, and operations; designs and recommends process, policy, and procedural improvements. Participates in departmental budget preparation and analysis; develops revenue and expenditure forecasts, conducts complex fiscal impact analysis, develops cost-allocation models, and monitors budgetary controls to ensure fiscal health. Advises department leadership on strategic planning and the implementation of management philosophies to foster a culture of efficiency and accountability.
