Assignment Length: 16 weeks

Schedule: 5 8-hour Day Shifts

Typical Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Compensation:

Weekly Stipend	1267
Weekly Taxable	1923.90
Hourly Taxable	48.0975
Candidate Weekly Gross Pay	3190.90

Job Summary

Pipestone County Medical Center & Family Clinic Avera is seeking an experienced OR Scrub & Circulate RN who can independently perform pre-op, post-op, and circulating responsibilities across a variety of surgical specialties.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• PALS required
• TNCC preferred
• OR experience with both pre/post-op and circulating
• Must be independently experienced with OB emergency procedures , including:
  • Cesarean sections
  • Suction D&C
  • Postpartum hemorrhage control
• Epic experience preferred/required for charting
• Must be comfortable working independently during call coverage

Surgical Specialties

Experience supporting the following areas is required or highly relevant:

• Endoscopy
• General Surgery
• Orthopedics
• OB
• Cataracts
• ENT
• Dental
• Pediatric ENT and Dental procedures

Schedule & Call Requirements

• 5 8-hour day shifts
• Typically 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• Occasional earlier or later shifts depending on the surgical schedule
• 1-in-4 call rotation
• Call includes holidays
• Christmas Day is the holiday during this assignment period; the facility is closed, so the RN is on call only
• Assignment: 16 weeks, with possibility of extending to 18 weeks
