Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor Our client is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team of professionals. Responsibilities: Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle Provide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan Review and participate with the design services team and general contractor, in the development of the cost estimates Reconcile changes and assist the general contractor to ensure that their data is accurate Communicate or meet with the general contractor and owner project manager to gather status information to prepare a cost estimate update Prepare written comments on the general contractor's submissions, including the executive summary Key requirements: Degree in quantity surveying/cost engineering/cost management or related majors RICS accredited or working towards Have at least 5 years of experience in cost estimation, cost control and contract management Civil Engineering project experience (rail, bridges, roads, structures, earthworks Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management and value engineering for example) If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or by emailing your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io Alternatively, you are welcome to contact either Meghan Groves at View phone number on click.appcast.io or Dawn McIntyre at View phone number on click.appcast.io.
