This contract assignment offers a unique opportunity to help students achieve their educational and therapeutic goals in a school-based environment, working directly with a small, manageable caseload over the summer.


Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license and ability to meet all Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requirements for practice in a school setting
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric physical therapy setting preferred
• Comfortable working with students on individualized schedules and adapting intervention as needed
• Ability to work in-person and travel between closely located school sites
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students according to their individual education plans (IEPs) during the following schedules:
  • June 23 to July 16, 2026 (4 weeks): Serve 4 students in various session frequencies (ranging from 2x over 4 weeks for 30 minutes to weekly sessions for 30-45 minutes)
  • June 22 to August 3, 2026 (6 weeks): Provide services to 1 student (specific session details forthcoming)
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting for each student's progress
• Coordinate therapeutic interventions effectively within the school environment
• Communicate regularly with multidisciplinary teams and families to ensure best practices and outcomes
