This position ensures inventory accuracy, prepares shipments, operates material handling equipment, and maintains compliance with company quality, safety, and ISO standards while supporting daily warehouse and shipping operations.What You'll DoOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment to safely load, unload, move, stage, store, and organize materials and finished goods.Load and unload trucks, inspect materials for damage or shortages, and transport inventory throughout the facility while following established safety procedures.Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming and outgoing materials against bills of lading, purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documentation.Prepare shipments by packaging materials, completing shipping documentation, and preparing loads in accordance with dispatcher-provided load plans.Perform daily forklift and material handling equipment inspections; maintain inventory organization and replenish stock materials following established procedures.Maintain compliance with ISO requirements, hazardous material handling procedures, and company safety policies.Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with other warehouse and shipping duties as assigned.What You'll GetA friendly, team-based, supportive work environmentCompetitive total compensation packageComprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, and 401K plan with employer contributionEmployee Assistance coverage with full services, including dietary and nutritional services, retirement planning and support services10 paid holidays per yearPaid time offProgressive employee referral programProfessional development and career growth opportunitiesIf this sounds like you and if you have what it takes to push boundaries and seize opportunities, we invite you to apply today!QualificationsAbility to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse or inventory systemsAbility to accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to perform basic math calculations involving counts, measurements, decimals, and fractions.Ability to read and use a tape measure.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.Golden West Packaging Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
