PICU Nurse (RN) | Caldwell, Idaho

A respected medical center in Southern Idaho is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide compassionate care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for a 13-week assignment. Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

• Valid RN license, eligible to practice in Idaho
• Minimum of 1 year previous experience in a PICU or high-acuity pediatric setting
• BLS and PALS certifications, current and active
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, emotionally challenging settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients, including monitoring for changes in condition and responding promptly to emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and ancillary staff to develop and execute individualized treatment plans
• Perform and document thorough patient assessments, treatments, and interventions
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with hospital policies
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
