Position Summary Medical Assistant - Apprentice The 12-month Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program offers a meaningful pathway into healthcare for individuals who are passionate about serving others and building a long-term career in community health. It combines 2,000 hours of paid clinical training with structured coursework to prepare apprentices to sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam. Apprentices work alongside experienced care teams in a patient-centered medical home model, helping ensure every patient receives respectful, high-quality care. Responsibilities Room patients, obtain vital signs, and assist with exams and procedures Track clinical quality measures and support care coordination Administer immunizations within scope Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent 18 years or older CPR certification Commitment to completing required coursework Dedication to serving diverse and underserved communities This apprenticeship is more than a job - it is an investment in your future and an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and families.
