Position Overview Manager in Training (MIT) SPEC Building Materials Corporation is recognized as one of the nation’s leading wholesale distributors of quality building materials and equipment for both commercial and residential roofing contractors. Since 1973, the family‑owned and operated business has grown to thirty‑five branch locations across the Midwest, South, and Southeast. We are seeking leaders who would like to run a business as if it were their own. The MIT program trains associates on every business segment and culture. Upon successful completion, the candidate will have the opportunity to run their own branch. Training Modules Customer Service / Counter Sales Training Residential and Commercial Product Training Inventory Management & Cost Control Logistics & Warehouse Management Branch Manager Training Outside Sales Training Leadership Training Position Requirements Preferably a 4‑year BS in Marketing/Sales, Business, or related field Two years of industry or industry‑related experience in building materials Two years of prior work experience Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel Entrepreneurial spirit; self‑motivated and enthusiastic about business Excellent customer service skills Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management abilities Analytical and problem‑solving skills Good verbal and written communication skills Ethical, honest, dependable Current state‑issued driver’s license with satisfactory driving record Legally entitled to work in the United States Ability to pass a company‑required drug test Reading, speaking, and writing proficiency in English Job Details Location: 10305 Gardner Rd., Dallas, Texas Type: Full‑time, Regular Shift: Day shift Work Location: In person Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr SPEC Building Materials
