Our client, an industry leader in clean energy technology, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of solid oxide fuel cell electrical power generators. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Welder
Location: Newark, DE
Pay Range: $25-$28
Shift:
Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Monday - Thursday: 6:00 PM-4:30 AM plus 15% shift diff
Friday-Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
What's the Job?
- Read and interpret Work Instructions to determine specific welding requirements
- Weld horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
- Position and clamp parts together in fixtures
- Accurately count all pieces to ensure quality control of parts prior to welding
- Operate welding equipment according to operating manual
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in TIG Welding (DC, AC, pulsed TIG), stick welding (SMAW), and Oxy-Acetylene Torch preferred
- Experience following detailed work instructions required
- Preferred experience with TIG welding on INCONEL/Stainless steel
- Mechanical skills and ability to use basic shop tools and equipment required
